Women's Revival Information

LADIES! Are you getting excited about our WFBC Women's Revival!? It's coming up and will be here in just over a month! Are you praying for our leadership? for Beth Greer? Are you inviting your friends? Are you praying that God would use this revival to impact your life?

We're excited about how this Revival has the potential to really encourage women in our community to reignite -- or ignite for the first time -- their passion for pursing Christ.

In the sidebar to the right, you'll find the Revival Schedule, a link to our guest speaker Beth Greer's Biography information, and also a printable brochure and registration form. We would like for this site to become a place where you could send your friends to for more information about the Revival, but also to see that others are getting excited!

April Meeting

Heaven is real! We know this because Jesus has risen and lives there today! This is our glorious hope for our journey is that one day we will live in heaven and spend eternity with our Lord. We were not meant for this world alone, for God promises in 2 Corinthians 5:1, “Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.”

What a glorious day that will be, when we all get to heaven! We will be home!

For our April WFBC monthly meeting, we will be praising God and celebrating that God is with us on our journey and that He is anxiously awaiting the day for us to join Him in His Home of Glory!

Want you join us Tuesday, April 15th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall as we embark on the final leg of our journey to see our Lord.

Come take our hand – we are on our way to eternity!

Women's Revival

Don't we all need to grow more and more in love with our Savior? We see that as one of the goals of this group - that we would find more satisfaction in Christ through being encouraged by one another.

Friday, May 16 - Saturday, May 17, we have the honor of hosting Mrs. Beth Greer as she comes to challenge us. A schedule and other information will be posted on this site as the date draws nearer. For now, mark your calendars. Ladies, you won't want to miss this weekend.

March Meeting

Hi Ladies!

It is hard to believe that our March Meeting is only one week away. We will be meeting March 11th in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30. Bring a friend with you and come join us! We will be talking about our journey with God. Each of our lives is a journey on this earth and God wants to be a part your journey. Come and let's encourage one another in our journey with God as we seek to be on a path of faith and trust in Him.

We had such an exciting and fun time at our January Meeting. We are already planning our next meeting: February 12th at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall. We will be having a salad supper and sharing our hearts. So, please come, bring your favorite salad and your thoughts about "With My Whole Heart I..." If you do not want to share, just come and listen...you will be blessed! Be sure to invite some friends! We look forward to seeing you !! (Childcare will be provided)

January Meeting

Happy New Year Women of First Baptist Church! It’s that time of the year for new beginnings. It’s that time of the year to look back at last year and look forward to the New Year. It’s a time to do away with the old and begin to make things new and better. What in your life needs a new start? One thing we all can consider as we think about things to improve for the New Year, is answering God’s Call. Do you hear Him? What is He saying to you? Are you willing to answer? Will you commit?

Our theme this month in our WFBC group meeting is – Called. The Call of God is not just for a select few, but for everyone! Whether we hear God’s call or not depends on the condition of our spiritual ears and exactly what we hear depends upon our spiritual attitude and maturity. Matthew 22:14 says, “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Are you choosing to say, “Here am I! Send me!” It takes each of us doing our part – answering our call – to help carry out God’s Magnificent Plan.

Don’t let this be another year in which you sit back, hold back, or go back! Take that new first step – Stand up and say, “Let me!” Join us Tuesday, January 15th at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

December Meeting

We will be meeting this month on Tuesday, December 11th at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Our theme this month is “God’s Greatest Gift”. We will be focusing on God’s gift of blessings.

God is just waiting to bless us, but we must be ready to receive His blessings.

Every lady of FBC is invited. Come, bring a friend, and receive the blessing of fellowship with your sisters in Christ.
